ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Responsible for full-cycle recruitment of exempt and nonexempt personnel, including employee sourcing, screening, and interviewing; conducting background and reference checks, scheduling pre-employment physicals and fingerprinting appointments.
- Completes the on-boarding process for all new hires, including reviewing all new hire paperwork, scheduling orientation, entering employee information into the HRIS, and creating new employee personnel files (both paper and electronic versions).
- Utilizes E-Verify for new hire screening purposes.
- Enters employee Central Registry information into the HR database.
- Submits new hire reporting documentation to The State of New Jersey as required.
- Maintains HRIS employment records and compiles reports as needed, including turnover, vacancy rates, time-to-hire and quality of hire metrics.
- Prepares the annual EEO-1 Report.
- Responds to employment verifications and prepares employment letters as needed.
- Maintain and update the employee bulletin board on a regular basis.
- Assists the HR department in carrying out various human resources programs and procedures for all Agency employees.
- Assists in staff training and development efforts as needed.
- Maintain all current and terminated employee files.
- Participates in staff meetings and attends trainings and/or seminars as requested.
- Cooperates with The Agency, DHS and DDD in any inspection or investigation.
- Responsible for other related duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND/OR WORK EXPERIENCE:
A Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of one year of related experience or an Associate’s degree and two years of related experience or a H.S. Diploma or equivalent with three years of related experience OR any similar combination of education and experience.
SCHEDULE-Monday-Friday (9am-5pm)

Pay: $26.00 per hour
