We invite you to join our collaborative and innovative Cloud Collaboration Platforms team as a Cloud Collaboration Administrator Professional. In this role, you’ll manage and enhance cloud-based platforms, primarily focusing on Google Workspace, ensuring smooth functionality and integration. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, Product Managers, and end-users to implement effective solutions that meet the needs of the University’s diverse community.

Responsibilities:
- Platform and Hosted Application Administration:
Manage, optimize, and provide end user support of cloud platforms, primarily Google Workspace, alongside the Product Manager, supporting the diverse needs of Notre Dame. You’ll lead the implementation and expansion of cloud platforms along with their hosted application releases, document product support, and manage file allocation thresholds while promoting responsible file stewardship across the university. You’ll partner with the Product Manager on communicating new features and releases to the broader Notre Dame community.
- Configuration and Validation:
Configure and validate cloud platforms to ensure they meet evolving product and user needs. You will contribute to the analysis of platform utilization and cost-effectiveness, making data-informed recommendations about platform continuity or retirement to align with institutional priorities.
- Voice of the Customer & Service Offering Analysis:
Collaborate with Business Service Owners to gather user feedback, evaluate service offerings, and provide detailed analysis on new service viability. Your insights will help shape Notre Dame’s cloud offerings, ensuring they continue to meet the needs of a growing and diverse community.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3-4+ years of experience managing cloud collaboration platforms, with a preference for Google Workspace.
- Experience with SaaS/PaaS administration, integration development/scripting, and familiarity with IaaS environments.
- Familiarity with secure SMTP, protocols such as DKIM, SPF, and DMARC
- Experience with scripting and working with API’s
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across different levels of technical knowledge.
- Problem-solving abilities with a holistic approach to managing tasks, processes, and projects.
- Experience leading short- to medium-term projects and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
- A dedication to customer service, ensuring positive user experiences and accessible technology for all.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience administering Google Workspace.
- Knowledge of Notre Dame’s cloud collaboration tools and storage practices.
- Familiarity with institutional security policies and third-party risk management.
- Experience working in higher education or similarly complex organizations.

This position is eligible for a Hybrid (1 day in office, every other week, on Wednesdays) work schedule. We will consider a fully remote arrangement for an exceptional candidate, with periodic University-funded travel to campus required.
M-F, 8am-5pm EST. Some early mornings, evenings, weekends needed for special circumstances like scheduled implementation windows, production issues, etc.
