Photography is a critical component of shaping Notre Dame’s visual identity, preserving its visual history and communicating its mission and goals. The incumbent will work as part of the Brand Content team to make images that will be incorporated into storytelling and marketing materials that relay key University messages effectively.
Assigned and self-generated work will include major University events, strategic partnerships with colleges and institutes, scenic campus images, student life, research and portraits. Work schedules will be flexible and nights and weekends will be required at times.

- Provide excellent photographic work on assigned and self-generated projects and manage projects from concept to delivery.
- Provide photo editing to ensure the highest quality images.
- Provide accurate editing, captioning and archiving in order to make a robust photo archive.

Minimum Qualifications
- Candidates must have excellent composition and editing skills demonstrated in portfolio and tearsheets
- Prior experience in higher ed, agency or similar collaborative environment
- Ability to work well with University partners, and give and receive feedback and critiques
- Expertise in Photoshop and Photo Mechanic a plus
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of post-secondary education, training and/or career experience
