Job Description

Sayres is seeking a Class Tactical Publication Manager in San Diego, Ca with active SECRET security clearance, verifiable in DISS.

Responsibilities

  • Review, evaluate, edit, update, and develop Naval Warfare Publications (NWPs), Navy Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (NTTPs), Navy Tactical Reference Publications (NTRPs), Tactical Memoranda (TACMEMO), Tactical Bulletins (TACBUL), Battle Orders, Class Tactical Publications (CTPs), Capabilities and Limitations, and Fleet Advisory Messages (FAMs).
  • Review, update, and provide feedback on Joint Publications (JPs) and Multi-Service Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (MTTPs).
  • Attend mission area related Navy, Joint and Combined seminars, conferences, and various other meeting forums and provide feedback during the conference.
  • Interface with SMWDC Divisions, depending on warfare area, in order to develop or review tactical publications.
  • Interface with the Navy Warfare Development Command (NWDC) in order to update the Navy Doctrine Library (NDL) hosted on the NWDC SharePoint portal.

Education, Work Experience, Skills, and Clearance Requirements

  • Former US Navy Officer or Senior Enlisted personnel
  • At least 8 years of recent experience with Navy Tactical Publications
  • Secret Clearance verifiable in DISS

Salary:

  • The salary for this position is likely $70,000 - $90,000. Salary ranges are not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
