About the Role:

Provides a variety of support services for all buildings on Neurocrine Campus. Handles more complex projects that may include beverage requests; sorting and mail distribution; new hire setups; and inventory, stock & order supplies for Breakrooms, Workrooms & Conference Rooms. Perform special projects as assigned.

Your Contributions (include, but not limited to):
  • Perform administrative functions using internal specialized software applications (i.e. Intranet, Work Orders, Food Service, Space Planning)

  • Provide New Hire Setups (prepare/post signage for workstation or office, office supplies, confirm keys for desk locks, check desk and chair functionality and report cleaning to Janitorial, if needed)

  • Responsible for Mailroom set up / maintenance

  • Sort and distribute incoming and outgoing U.S. Mail and Interoffice Mail (including outgoing Fed Ex) between buildings

  • Manage inventory, ordering, stocking and tracking office supplies in the workrooms (including copy paper) and breakroom supplies

  • Manage inventory, ordering, stocking and tracking coffee supplies and equipment maintenance, reporting any repairs needed

  • Perform beverage deliveries and set ups for meetings company-wide, as requested

  • Perform ongoing sweeps of all building conference rooms to ensure they are ready for use throughout the day (clean white boards, unless marked SAVE, markers and erasers are in good working order, chairs are pushed in and arms adjusted, tissues and wipes are available, Janitorial Day Porters are notified if trash needs removal or carpet/chair stains need removal)

  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma and 2 years of general office experience and/or related experience

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, organization skills, and high attention to detail

  • Professional demeanor, high initiative

  • Ability to work efficiently and with limited supervision

  • Ability to interact with employees at all levels

  • Computer expertise, including Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Must be able to lift 30 lbs. and walk up to 1/2 mile within and between buildings

  • Holds and maintain a valid driver's license

  • Uses established skills to perform a range of daily operations

  • Applies understanding of company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks

  • Understands how own area contributes to the achievement of objectives

The hourly rate we reasonably expect to pay is $22.51-$32.65. Individual pay decisions depend on various factors, such as primary work location, complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus with a target of 15% of the earned base salary and eligibility to participate in our equity based long term incentive program. Benefits offered include a retirement savings plan (with company match), paid vacation, holiday and personal days, paid caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits to include medical, prescription drug, dental and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.
