Scope of Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated SAP Program Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing the successful planning, execution, and delivery of SAP implementation programs. With a focus on program planning and execution, you will develop comprehensive project plans, define deliverables and timelines, and ensure the efficient allocation of resources. Your expertise in stakeholder management and communication will be crucial as you engage with executives, business process owners, and IT teams, fostering strong relationships and effectively communicating program goals and progress. Additionally, your strong problem-solving and risk management skills will enable you to identify and mitigate potential risks, address issues, and implement corrective actions. With a significant portion of your role dedicated to risk management and problem-solving, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful delivery of SAP programs. Responsibilities

Program Planning and Execution

    Responsible to deliver the Program Office objectives for the organization.
  • Define program objectives and create a comprehensive project plan for SAP implementations or enhancement projects.
  • Develop and manage project timelines, ensuring all milestones and deliverables are met on time.
  • Responsible for delivery processes:
  • Portfolio Management and prioritization
  • Project Mobilization and resource staffing
  • Central monitoring of all Program Office project timelines and budgets for the organization
  • Manage the application of the project management methodology to ensure consistency
  • Oversee the implementation of SAP modules, configurations, customizations, and integrations, ensuring alignment with program objectives.

Stakeholder Management and Communication

  • Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, including senior executives, business process owners, and subject matter experts.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration throughout the program.
  • Provide regular program updates to stakeholders, including progress reports, risks, and mitigation strategies.
  • Address stakeholder concerns and manage expectations to ensure alignment and support for the SAP program.
  • Facilitate effective communication between different teams and departments involved in the program.
  • Manage IT services partner solution delivery relationships.

Risk Management and Problem-solving

  • Identify potential risks and issues that may impact the SAP program and develop mitigation strategies to minimize their impact.
  • Proactively monitor and manage risks throughout the program, making timely decisions to address issues and keep the program on track.
  • Resolve conflicts and facilitate problem-solving to overcome challenges and barriers to program success.
  • Adapt program plans and strategies as needed in response to changes or unforeseen circumstances.
  • Ensure compliance with SAP best practices and standards, as well as regulatory requirements, throughout the program.

Physical Requirements:
Must be able to sit or stand at computer for a reasonable length of time typing and reading. Regularly required to
walk or stand. 100% of time is spent in the office environment, utilizing computers (frequent use of various
Microsoft software/programs), phones, and general office equipment.

Working Conditions:

80% of time is spent in the office environment. 20% of time is spent outside of the office comprised of national and international travel for meetings and collaboration with global counterparts, as well as travel to conferences and trade shows to understand new and emerging technologies and changes to the renewable energy industry.

Qualifications

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
  • 7+ years project management experience managing complex projects.
  • Prior SAP implementation experience highly desired.
  • SAP Activate and PMP certifications are highly desirable.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Understanding of SAP and methodologies
  • Exceptional track record of on time on budget on schedule deliveries
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills to effectively guide and motivate project teams.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address project-related issues.
  • Proficient in risk management and mitigation strategies.
  • Sound financial management skills to monitor project budgets and expenses.
  • Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and work well under pressure.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet project deadlines.
  • Knowledge of ITIL Service Operations concepts.

This role's annual base salary range is between $102,500 and $171,000.
